A friend called the other day to see if I had the special tool for removing the cam nut. I told him no, I've always used the tool kit monkey wrench, but I've been meaning to make one. So, I made one.

I found a piece of 2 inch steel square tubing and sawed off a 1 inch chunk. then I clamped it in the vice and heated up one side with the torch and stretched it out into a semicircle and repeated on the opposite side. I cut a piece of 1&1/2 X 1/2" bar stock the length to fit inside the straight sides of the tubing and welded it into the tubing. Then I drilled a 1/2" hole in the middle of the bar stock and filed it out square to fit a 1/2" ratchet. Sand blasted and painted black.
